CHOOSE FAITH

April 19, 2021

 Hi all!

I hope everyone had an amazing week! After ten days and three covid tests, I'm officially done with quarantine!!!! Some of the tender mercies this week were the creek behind our building, a chocolate delivery and my flat mates Sister Candland and Sister Buhler.

I've been working with my trainer virtually this week and she is simply incredible. Her name is Sister Kis and she's from Hungary! Right now we're also companions with Sister Shen because,  even though she's been out eighteen months, she can't fly home to China due to covid restrictions:'( Keep her in your prayers if you can.

This week we've been doing a lot of Facebook finding and I'll admit I was a little skeptical at first, but I witnessed a miracle the first day we did it!!! We posted in some local groups offering free service and a woman named Cathie messaged me about working in her garden. We got chatting and she told me that she's new to the area and is looking for a Christian church to join and "a family to belong to." AMAZING! The Lord truly is hastening His work using social media. 😇

I reread President Nelson's talk on faith this week and was blown away by his promise to all of us: "Through your faith, Jesus Christ will increase your ability to move the mountains in your life, even though your personal challenges may loom as large as Mount Everest." (I must've been pretty sleepy when I watched conference the first time bc I missed this😅

Right now, some of the "mountains" in my life include adjusting to mission life and finding people who are willing to follow Christ and be baptized. Both of these are pretty daunting challenges to me, but President Nelson's promise gave me the courage I needed to make a decision-- from now on, I will choose faith in Jesus Christ! And I have no doubt that He will enable to me move these mountains and see miracles on my mission.

Matt 17:20 says, "If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you."

Choose faith.🌟 I love you all!!

Cheers,
Sister Bowler

Amazon UK delivery (my dad knows me too well😉)
Chocolate is the answer. Amen.

Pond behind our building... pretty much the only thing I've seen in Manchester so far but it's beautiful!
