Hiya!!

I hope everyone had an amazing week! It was a beautiful, sunny week here in England! We've been soaking in allll the sun we can because, as everyone keeps reminding us, "summer only lasts a week." Haha the comments people make about the weather here make me laugh.

It was a busy week! We had interviews with President Johnson, zone conference follow-up, exchanges and a zone facebook meeting. We had a handful of lessons, but we've been focusing a lot on finding lately. We know there are people in Chorley who are willing to let God prevail in their lives, but we just have to find them!!!

One highlight of my week was a lesson with a man named David. In the lesson I found myself testifying of the Book of Mormon in a way I have never done before... I told him that studying the book has brought me closer to the Savior in a way nothing else has and that nothing in this world could make me deny that it is true. I was honestly surprised to hear those words come out of my mouth, but as I said them I felt it in my bones!!! I'm so grateful for the opportunity to share with others that the Book of Mormon is true and that Jesus Christ lives!

Last but not least, I went to LIVERPOOL! We saw the Beatles statue which was soooo cool! Of course there are about a billion other Beatles sights I want to see, but I'll have to save them for another time. We also got to walk around the docks. As I looked out at the murcky waters, I tried to imagine how my ancestors must've felt as they looked at those same waters hundreds of years ago, preparing to leave everything behind to gather with the saints. Everything good in my life flows from their courageous decision to go where God wanted them to go.
